Thames Valley Perinatal Mental Health Network Report 2016

A year on from the publication of the first report scoping perinatal mental health service provision across the Thames Valley, we are pleased to release our second phase report following a subsequent regional conference day held on 9  March 2016.

Following the event last year a regional TV perinatal mental health network was formed and representatives from each locality across the region and across the services that come into contact with women and their families during the perinatal period contribute to both their locality and regional perinatal networks. Individuals with lived experience have contributed to the significant service development that has taken place over the past year across Thames Valley.

This second report has reviewed the positive progress made over the past year in respect of perinatal mental health but also seeks to identify and establish our priorities for the coming year.
