The South of England Clinical Networks, in conjunction with the National IAPT Programme, is delighted to be hosting an event focusing on Older People in IAPT services.
The event intends to enable attendees to develop their understanding around how IAPT services can increase access for older people and share best practice examples of current work being undertaken with older adults and carers.
The event will be chaired by Professor Alistair Burns, National Clinical Director for Dementia and Older Peoples’ Mental Health at NHS England.

Who should attend?
The event is open to IAPT Practitioners, Commissioners, Service Managers, Clinical Leads, Third Sector Providers including carer support services; GPs and Community Nurses, Social Care Staff, Older People’s Community Mental Health Teams and Memory Services, and anyone with an interest in Older People’s Mental Health and the interface with IAPT services.
