Children’s Cancers

The Children’s (Paediatric) group takes the lead on looking at all of the health services that are used by young children with cancer in the Network.

The aim of this group is to oversee, support and bring together the viewpoints of all of the multi-disciplinary teams working in paediatric cancer services across the Network. The group aims to ensure the same standard of care and treatment for paediatric patients across the Network.

The Group Lead is: Dr Kate Wheeler, Consultant in Paediatric Oncology, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

The date of the next Children’s meeting is Tuesday 19th March 2019, 14:30-17:00, at Hawkwell House Hotel, Church Way, Iffley village, Oxford OX4 4DZ.

Protocols and Guidelines for Children’s Cancer

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information in a given regimen it cannot be guaranteed that the regimen is fully up to date, because of the dynamic nature of cancer treatment.

All Thames Valley Children’s Cancer Protocols and Guidelines can be found on the Oxford University Hospitals Intranet, the link is below.

The webpage above can only be accessed by NHS staff, the line through the link indicates that it will not work unless you are on an NHS computer.
