The Thames Valley Regional Perinatal Network are delighted to announce the launch of our perinatal mental health regional training programme of four dates and locations across the Thames Valley to enhance the awareness, knowledge and skills of professionals working with women at this time. The four days have been developed in line with the national perinatal competency framework and alongside those with lived experience who will also contribute to the programme. Perinatal mental health is everyone’s business and these days will complement the work already undertaken across the Thames Valley to improve the provision and access to perinatal services across the whole pathway. We look forward to welcoming amongst other interested parties, individuals working in primary care, maternity, health visiting, generic mental health teams including Crisis teams and inpatient services, IAPT, social care and third sector organisations, to improve the awareness and raise the profile of perinatal mental health in your daily contact with women and their families, helping to ensure that women can be identified and helped to access the services they require.
The days are identical and you are welcome to register for any date and any location.
We are offering this training opportunity through a choice of four dates and four locations. All will run from 09:00-16:00, and there will be 60 places available in each location.
